The company has provided fun and informative tours on segways around Uluru since 2017. During this time Uluru Segway Tours has picked up a suite of awards for its operations and customer service. In addition to this 2.5% from every tour sold goes to supporting the local Indigenous community through the Central Lands trust.

Please note

Voucher Information: Sorry, but you will need to print a paper version of your booking voucher (we promise we are working on changing this). Unfortunately, at this time, we will not be able to give anyone a refund without a printed copy of his/her voucher.

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised  activity to reconfirm.

The tour needs a minimum of 2 people to operate, however, we do not accommodate more than 10 people in one go to ensure it is more of an intimate affair.

The activity for adults and older children only. We’re afraid little ones under the age of 12 years will have to sit this one out and those below 18 need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Don’t forget to wear sturdy, closed shoes and if you are travelling during the cooler months, carry get an extra warm jacket. Please also keep in mind to get your own water bottle, sunscreen and of course, a camera.

The Segway tours can be enjoyed by anyone between 45 kg and 117 kg in weight.

Being intoxicated in any manner is strictly prohibited.

Additional info

All participants are advised to bring - a hat, their national park entry ticket (or $25 cash to purchase), wear closed in shoes and bring at least 1L of water per person.

Clients who are staying at The Lost Camel Hotel at Ayers Rock Resort will be picked up from Sails in the Desert, at the same time.

Segway riders should ideally have the balance, coordination, fitness and vision of someone who can safely ride a bicycle.

Please do inform Uluru Segway Tours if there are any health or vision conditions that may impact your participation. 

The tour is not suitable for those who are pregnant or suffering from back problems.

Please understand that it’s the rider’s responsibility to have carefully read and understood all the requirements, and agreed with them.
