Overview

Embark on a 2-day once-in-a-lifetime group camping trip to Elora, Ontario! Go hiking, swim in an abandoned limestone quarry, and tube the white water rapids of Elora Gorge.

What's the plan:

Day 1:

Your camping adventure starts with a short tent set-up demo followed by lunch. Drive off to Elora Quarry where you can spend time on the beach or a take a dip in an abandoned limestone quarry (there is also a clifftop hiking trail). Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the quaint little town of Elora and take in breathtaking views of Elora Gorge Falls & the spectacular Elora Gorge Lookout. Return to camp for the evening to enjoy a camp-cooked meal, some bocce ball and a campfire.

Day 2:

Tuck into a savory breakfast before packing up and heading to Hole In The Rock to see the gorge up close before riding the rapids. Take a break and have lunch before collecting the equipment to tube down the Grand River through Elora Gorge (up to 3 times). This is the highlight of your camping experience and an adrenaline pumping adventure that will stay with you well after the tour.

No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other devices. (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)

So there is no last minute rush, please arrive 15 minutes early.

All participants are required to be at least 122cms. (48 inches) in height.

Anyone under the age of 18 years will need a guardian or parent to sign their waiver.

Minimum age for this trip is 5 years (tubing not recommended for kids under 10).

This tour may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

We reserve the right to cancel this tour, should there be fewer than 4 guests.

Covid-19 precautionary measures:

There is no solo tent add-on this year. Guests will not be required to share a tent. 

The passenger capacity for tours has gone down to allow for social distancing.

Showers may be closed for the season (due to COVID).
