  • Overview & Itinerary
Overview There are few sights more awe-inspiring than a whale or dolphin rising from the surface of the sea.

This exciting catamaran cruise off the coast of Tenerife gives you the chance to see groups of magnificent jet-black pilot whales, which often move in large numbers around the Canary Isles.

The crew on board your catamaran will tell you all about the lives and habits of these creatures, which are in fact not a whale but a type of dolphin. Enjoy a gentle sea breeze and a kind Canarian sun as you take in stunning views of the coast.

One version of this tour also includes a 30-minute stop for swimming and snorkeling in a secluded natural bay.

This tour is unavailable due to yearly inspection from 16 - 22 May.

This tour comes in two options: Whale watching and Whale watching and snorkeling. The tours are identical, except the latter includes 30 minutes of swimming and snorkeling.

Your cruise departs from Puerto Colon, Pier 4, Costa Adeje (Playa de las Americas),Tenerife. You will be accompanied by a bilingual crew (English and Spanish) that will provide fascinating facts about whales as you see them.

    Whale Watching in Tenerife:
Board your catamaran and set out across a shimmering Atlantic expanse. Look for jet-black Pilot Whales that rise from the water to breach about three miles from the coast. Try to snap a picture of one of these magnificent creatures before they return to the depths with a tremendous splash.

If you’re lucky, you may also see dolphins frolicking in the distance during this 2-hour cruise.

Sail back along the coast of Tenerife, where you can relax and enjoy the view. Water, fizzy drinks and beer are provided free of charge for the length of this tour.

Your tour ends where it began.

Whale Watching and Snorkeling in Tenerife:
This tour mirrors the one above, but also includes a 30-minute stop for swimming and snorkeling in a natural bay near La Caleta.

A mask and tube are provided for those who want to snorkel, but there is no professional instruction offered.

This tour also includes a light meal.

The tour ends at the starting point.
