Activity Overview

There’s adventure, fun and entertainment for the whole family at Las Aguilas Jungle Park near Los Cristianos.

Many exciting animals are waiting to meet you at this delightful wildlife sanctuary. They include rare white lions and white tigers, pygmy hippos, cute meerkats and red pandas, cheeky monkeys and gentle apes, plus an amazing collection of exotic birds.

The Park is also famous for its breathtaking birds-of-prey shows which give you stunning close up views of the ‘lords of the skies’. Another top attraction is ‘Jungle Raid’, a Tarzan-style adventure in which visitors travel through the forest using ropes, bridges, passages and tunnels.

Jungle Park makes a refreshing change from the beach and provides a wonderful action-packed day out!

Itinerary

Las Águilas Jungle Park is a zoological and botanical park located near the Los Cristianos beach. To reach the park you can make your way to Urb. Las Aguilas del Teide, 38640, Arona.

The Park has over 75,000 m² of jungle with more 500 animals, plus walking paths with tunnels, suspension bridges, waterfalls, lagoons, and caves.

Highlights of the Park:

The Big Cat collection: One of the Park’s main attractions are the rare white lions from South Africa. Other big cats are leopards, jaguars, Bengal tigers, white tigers and pumas.

The Primate Collection: Monkeying around at the Park are gentle orang utans, agile gibbons, comic chimps, strikingly colored mandrills, tiny, mischievous Capuchin monkeys and many more of our close relatives.

The Bird Collection: The Park is well-known for its exotic birds including cranes, ibis, flamingos, swans, storks, parrots, macaws, vultures, falcons, eagles and penguins.

Other animals: These include pygmy hippopotamus, crocodiles, caiman, sociable racoons, cute red pandas and lively meerkats.

Jungle Raid: Enjoy a real jungle adventure when you follow this thrilling circuit with ropes, bridges, passages and tunnels of over 300 meters long.

Birds of Prey Shows: These acclaimed shows take place twice a day. Get dramatic close-up views of the magnificent birds of prey in free flight. See them flying just over your head, hopping around on the ground, playing and even walking.

Another exciting attraction is the BOB ride, involving driving an amazing vehicle along over 800 meters of high-speed jungle-crossing track.

At the end of your visit you need to make your own arrangements to return to your accommodation.
