Don’t hesitate to mingle with the friendly locals too before heading to Sapit for a short trek.
If you wish to commune with nature, there's the Sendang Gile waterfall beneath Mount Rinjani. Approximately 125 metres high, it is set among a lush surrounding with spectacular gorges overhung by vines as well as stunning flora and fauna. Other must-sees are the Sembalun Lawang, Sembalun Bumbung villages and Segenter traditional village. If you're lucky, you might even get to see a spectacular sunset on your way back to your hotel!
