Overview
Visit the famous water town of Zhujiajiao on the outskirts of Shanghai. Zhujiajiao is a famous ancient water town with the shape of a spread-out folding fan, by the vast waters of the Dianshan Lake and flanked by the North Hill with nine peaks.
The ancient town of Zhujiajiao is like a lustrous pearl studded on the Dianshan Lake and cloaked with the beauty of the lake and the hills. The town is crossed by numerous rivers, along which run 9 long and narrow streets and stand a thousand ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A total of thirty-six ancient stone bridges spans the rivers, leading you to several historic sites.
