Day 1

Meet your guide and enjoy easy transfers to the 1000-year-old small but historical Samhwasa Temple. Enjoy walking along the temple after wearing the customary uniform and explore national treasures No. 1277 (three story stone pagoda) and No. 1292 (steel sitting Buddha statue). This temple also houses the main shrine (also called Yaksajeon), Jeokkwangjeon, Beomjonggak pavilion, Geukrakjeon shrine, Birojeon shrine, Chilseongdan shrine, and Muhyanggak pavilion. Admire the beautiful temple surrounds, enjoy a wonderful tea ceremony or ring a bell to talk to a monk! Enjoy nourishing meals at the temple including rice/soup/seasonal vegetable (pumpkin, radish, spinach, bean sprout) that detoxifies your system.
