Overview

Learn about the cultural and traditional roots of South Korea by participating in their most customary activities. Spend around three hours enjoying a tea ceremony, adorning a hanbok attire and learning to make kimchi, a staple in Korean cuisine!

Korean Tea Ceremony 

Enjoy a wonderful and relaxing tea ceremony and learn about this beverage’s importance in the Korean culture and history. With a special emphasis on tea in the country, there are four types of traditional teas that are savoured in Korea: green tea, medicinal herb tea, fruit-based tea, and grain-based tea.  

Hanbok Wearing 

Try on a colourful Hanbok, a traditional Korean dress worn as a semi-formal or formal attire during traditional occasions such as festivals, celebrations, and ceremonies. Enjoy taking memorable photographs of yourself in the costume that was worn daily in Korea up until 100 years ago.  

Kimchi Making 

Impress your loved ones by learning how to make Korea’s most popular dish - Kimchi under a professional kimchi instructor. While preparing this super delicious cabbage-based side dish, you also get to gain a practical insight into Korean history and culture. Participants can taste the kimchi they make, have it packed up, and take it overseas.
