Please make your way to Central Port, where you’ll set sail for a sightseeing tour to Marmaris in Turkey. You’ll be accompanied by an English-speaking escort/guide who will shed light on Turkish history and culture.
Enjoy a peaceful one-hour boat trip across the Aegean, admiring quaint seaside towns and tiny islands poking up from the water.
Arrive in Marmaris and head to a quintessential Turkish bazaar, where you’ll be enveloped by the scents, colors, and sounds of the East. The air will be thick with the aroma of paprika and mint while you walk through rows of stalls displaying colorful scarves and decorative hanging lamps. Use your haggling skills to get the real bargains!
Sip the notoriously strong Turkish tea or nibble on the sweet lemon and rosewater confection of “Loukoum,” or Turkish delight.
Walk along the largest marina in Europe, with more than 1000 yachts on the water. The restaurants that dot the marina provide a perfect setting for lunch (payable direct), with an unrivaled view of the harbour known as the Bay of Mermaids.
Walk up to the Castle of Old Town, which appears in the histories of Herodotus as early as 3000 BC and fell to the marauding armies of Alexander the Great. Stroll through a flower-filled courtyard and admire arresting panoramas of Marmaris.
