Activity Overview

Enjoy the thrill of a lifetime when you go skydiving in Queenstown, Adventure Capital of the World!

This exhilarating experience is available at three altitudes – 9000, 12,000 and 15,000 feet. Fly to your chosen height then, safely harnessed to an instructor, jump out of the plane and freefall for around 60 seconds at a speed of up to 200kph – an awesome sensation.

As your parachute opens, enjoy stupendous views of the beautiful mountains and lakes around Queenstown. On landing back at base you will feel an incredible sense of fulfilment.

To commemorate your great achievement you will be presented with a special certificate.

Itinerary

There are three options for your Tandem SkyDive – Queenstown:
• 9000 feet
• 12,000 feet
• 15,000 feet

To take part in any one of these three exciting Tandem SkyDive experiences you should make your way to Nzone Shop - 35 Shotover Street, Queenstown. Please arrive 10 minutes before the time slot arranged when you made your booking.

You will be picked up from 35 Shotover Street and driven out to the skydive venue, about 15 minutes from the centre of Queenstown.

Before your jump you will watch the pre-skydive information video, which helps answer any questions you might have.

You will board the aircraft and ascend to the jump altitude chosen. Harnessed by space age materials to an experienced qualified jumpmaster you will step out of the aircraft and freefall for some 60 seconds, reaching terminal velocity 200km/hr. Your jumpmaster will deploy the reinforced tandem canopy controlling your entire skydive.

On landing safely by parachute, you will receive a certificate commemorating your great achievement.

After your skydive adventure you will be driven back to 35 Shotover Street, Queenstown.
