Visit one of Prague’s historical blockbuster – Prague Castle but before entering the monument, take a guided introductory walking tour around the city to get a basic overview of its history and presence.

So here’s the plan. You will meet your expert guide under the Old Town’s tower of Charles Bridge and then take a leisurely stroll across the popular medieval bridge while your guide gives you a brief insight into Prague’s history and political past. While you walk and listen, enjoy the stunning views of the Prague Castle from the bridge.
After you reach the other end of the Charles Bridge, you will take a tram to Prague Castle, where your guide will give you a brief introduction about the monument and its significance. During this time, do not forget to take some insider tips about the city as well as what you should not miss inside the castle. He will happily answer your questions and help you with all the details.

Next, your guide will give you skip-the-line tickets to Prague Castle so that you can explore the castle’s interior on your own. Prague Castle is the official seat of the President of the Czech Republic and has always been one of the most significant centres of political and ecclesiastical powers in Europe. The monumental residence of Czech monarchs and Holy Roman emperors is also one of the largest castles in the world consisting of a large-scale composition of palaces, churches and other buildings of various age and architectural styles, which makes it the most visited monument in the country.

Once inside, you can start your tour from St Vitus Cathedral, one of the finest examples of European Gothic architecture. Next, head to St. Wenceslas Chapel decorated with precious stones. There is a door inside the chapel with seven locks that leads to the Crown Chamber where the Czech crown jewels are kept to this day. Then make your way to the Old Royal Palace where the Last Judgement Mosaic from the 1370s will amaze you.

Other key highlights of Prague Castle include Vladislav Hall, St George’s Basilica and Golden Lane.

About the Supplier: ‘No chance to get bored’ – that’s what Fun in Prague believe in. During your Prague tour, if you are looking to do the regular stuff but not in the ordinary way, look no further. The people here offer a range of sightseeing tours and cruises, but with a quirky twist. A boat ride to the zoo, a dinner at a medieval tavern, chugging beers during a walk, face off with friends during a game of paintball in an island – that’s the kind of things we are talking about.
