Overview

Enjoy a guided tour and skip-the-line access to the majestic Prague Castle, one of the most-visited attractions of the Czech Republic.

Delve into the rich history of the UNESCO-listed Prague Castle, the largest castle complex in the world and a seat of Czech rulers for more than 1200 years.

Explore highlights like the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, and the Golden Lane. Meet your guide in front of the Malostranská metro station near the Mánes Bridge, enjoy a scenic tram ride up to Prague Castle. Once inside, your guide will give you headphones so that you can easily hear their commentary throughout the tour.

Admire the St. Vitus’ Gothic architecture., enter the Old Royal Palace, stand beneath the massive, vaulted ceiling of the Vladislav Hall and step into the chamber where the Defenestration of Prague occurred.

Visit the Basilica of St. George, whose walls and design are a sharp contrast to the grandiosity of the castle. See the fragments of 12th-century frescoes and then visit the remains of St. Ludmila.

Walk along the Golden Lane. The cottages in this alley were originally built for the castle’s sharpshooters, but later housed goldsmiths. In later centuries artists like Franz Kafka lived there.
