The tour ends at Republic Square
Surrounded by vineyards and a national forest, enclosed by thick stone walls, and decorated with whimsical spires, the castle is a medieval wonder.
This tour takes you inside the castle, where the footfalls of kings still resonate across airy, high-ceilinged rooms.
Learn from your guide about the Holy Roman Emperor who chose Prague as his imperial capital and used the impregnable castle to protect his priceless royal treasures.

To join the tour please proceed your way to Republic Square 3 (The yellow kiosk of Prague Sightseeing Tours & Cityrama) by air-conditioned coach and taken to the Karlštejn Castle, which is about 20km outside Prague.
Karlštejn Castle: The Karlštejn Castle is torn from the pages of a fairy tale, rising tall and unreal above time and treetops.
The castle sits high atop a rocky hillside, is nestled in a lush national forest, and overlooks the quaint Czech village of Karlstejn.
It was built in the 14th century by the Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV, who ushered in the golden age of Bohemia.
Despite much dissension by those who thought Rome should be the center of the Roman world, Charles IV was enchanted by Prague, and made it his imperial capital. When the Hussite Wars broke out in 1419, the emperor used Karlštejn Castle to store holy relics and the priceless coronation jewels.
The magnificently preserved castle has been rebuilt several times in its history, the latest effort being a neo-Gothic reconstruction in the late 19th century.
Explore the bewitching castle from inside and outside in this magical tour. The castle’s hilltop location makes this a more physically demanding tour than most.
Your coach will return you to Republic Square in Prague.
