Admire one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world -Douro Valley a UNESCO listed heritage site. It is a region in the North of Portugal which has been identified as the first demarcated wine region. Drive through its idyllic hills and admire its natural greenery and steep valleys, with vineyards and verdurous river banks complementing the scenery. Your guide would accompany you all throughout the tour.You will be in awe of the hills, and natural greenery and with vineyards further adding to the beauty of the place. Tour takes you to Galafura where you will visit the “São Leonardo de Galafura” view point which is the highest point of the entire Douro Valley. There is only a little chapel in honour of Saint São Leonardo de Galafura and a small picnic area. Enjoy the delicious meal while at Galafura followed by visit to Pinhao, “heart of the beautiful Douro”, where you will have 1 hour cruise in the Douro River. Finish the day with a Port Wine tasting at a Wine Estate in the area.You will be dropped back to your hotel.
