Make your way to outside Phuket Old Town Indoor Market on Ranong Road. It's easy to reach as all the buses coming and going from here to Patong stop just outside, but we'll send you more details and address on your voucher too. Your guide will be wearing A Chef's Tour t-shirt.
Time for some lunch, a lovely bowl of noodles, perhaps some grilled pork dripping with an excellent peanut satay? Sounds good right? Well take the Phuket lunchtime food tour, and you’ll be getting dishes like that and a lot more. On this tour you’re not going to be tasting what the tourists get, oh no, with your local guide on hand to take you to the hidden places, the secrets of the island cuisine will be revealed. Forget the beach and go feast!
About Your Guide:
A Chef’s Tour has a simple aim for their tours. Create and curate food experiences that are good enough for chefs. And that is precisely what you get with their trips. A journey to understand regional food, its history and ingredients. Not forgetting that you get to sample the local cuisine. Is it any wonder their tours make for mouth-watering experiences?
Here’s the plan:
Drag yourself away from the stunning beaches and head into the markets and the hidden food places of Phuket. On this private or small group tour, you will find out why Southern Thai food is just so good. On the lunchtime food tour you will:
• Mop up Burmese curries
• Enjoy chai in a tucked away Burmese tea shop.
• Eat noodles in Phuket town and indulge in other culinary delights
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.
Voucher information: No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other devices. (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)
