Your tour meets at the Louis XIV statue just in front of the Chateau. Your host will be wearing a Fat Tire shirt and holding a sign.
The closest train station to the palace is Versailles Rive Gauche (RER C line). It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to walk from the train station to the ticket meeting point (Louis XIV statue in front of the palace).
Trains generally run every 15 minutes from Paris, and it is a 30-40 minute train ride to Versailles, so be sure to allow plenty of time to arrive from Paris. We recommend leaving central Paris 1 hour before your activity start time.
DIRECTIONS: If you are taking the RER C, exit the station at Versailles Rive Gauche (end of the line) and turn right once outside. At the first intersection (Avenue de Paris) you will see the palace on your left.

The Palace of Versailles is a must visit in France. This self-guided option gives you the opportunity to explore the Palace at your own pace and you can spend as much time as you want at the Palace.
Make your way to the Louis XIV statue just in front of the Chateau, where your host will give you your Skip-the-Line entrance ticket, an audio guide and an entertaining introduction to the historical past of the palace. You will then walk right past all the lines, straight inside where you can explore the palace at your own pace.
Spend as much time as you want viewing many highlights of the palace, including the Royal Chapel, the King’s and Queen’s Grand Apartments, and the palace's awe-inspiring crown jewel, The Hall of Mirrors.
With an informative audio guide in English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Korean, Russian and Italian; learn the fascinating history of the palace.
Your tour will end where you started after you return your audio guide.

The voucher is NOT redeemable at the palace’s ticket offices under any circumstances. This voucher is only redeemable with our representative at the specified meeting point.
You cannot pick up your Versailles tickets in advance. Please be punctual to avoid missing your reserved group entry time. The group will depart at the exact start time and our group entry ticket will expire, so we cannot catch you up if you are late. Check-in closes 5 minutes before your activity time. Please come with all attending members of your party.
While you will skip the regular lines, there may be a small wait to allow for security bag check. Please note that you cannot bring knives/sharp objects, glass bottles or food into the palace. Admittance is subject to Versailles security clearance.
Access to the palace is subject to all policies and procedures of Versailles, including closures, security threats, maintenance or any other unforeseen closures.
