Explore the stunning Sainte-Chapelle, one of the most famous monuments of Paris and enjoy a relaxing cruise on the charming Seine River.
Saint Chapelle:
Visit the recently restored French Gothic chapel from the 13th century. Admire the stunning walls of stained glass on the second level reachable by a narrow spiral stone staircase.
Considered a Gothic gem, the church was built in just 7 years and was intended to house precious Christian relics, including Christ's crown of thorns, acquired by Saint Louis. Arranged across 15 windows, each 15 meters high, the stained-glass panes depict 1,113 scenes from the Old and New Testaments narrating the history of the world until the arrival of the relics in Paris.
The highlight of the experience is the antique stained-glass windows, with its astounding intensity of colors and design.
Cruise:
Enjoy a 1-hour cruise on a modern, panoramic boat with an exterior viewing platform and explore Paris from the Seine River. Admire the UNESCO-listed riverbanks and iconic attractions like the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, the Louvre Museum, the Orsay Museum, Notre-Dame de Paris, and the monumental bridges. See houseboats and floating eating places as you sail under the bridges, adding to the charming ecosystem of this atmospheric city.
Delve into the history of Paris and learn more about the monuments you see in the language of your choice on audio guide, available on the boat.
