See the best of French art and architecture in two of the renowned locations – the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre Museum.
One of the top attractions from Paris, The Palace of Versailles is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is known for its exquisite royal chambers and verdant formal gardens, fountains, waterways and pools spreading across 800 hectares. Upgrade your tour to see the Musical Fountain Show and witness the extraordinary sight of Versailles’ fountains coming to life as they dance to classical music.
After your Versailles tour, you will be transferred back to Paris where you can visit the Louvre Museum directly after Versailles. Alternatively, you can choose any day and time of your convenience to visit the Louvre.
Begin your tour with a pick up from your Paris hotel in a minivan at your chosen time and head to Versailles.
The minivan will drop you at the entrance of the Palace of Versailles. Walk past the long queues with your skip the line Versailles ticket and enjoy an audio guide providing you with the many significant details of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the Grand Apartments, King’s Apartments, Queen’s Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the Hall of the Battles during the course of the tour.
Next, visit the gardens and the groves and admire the remarkable sculptures, waterways, and royal residences – including Marie Antoinette’s rural retreat, the Queen’s Hamlet - in these beautiful gardens.
If you choose to see the Fountains Show, enjoy the fanciful histrionics of Versailles’ water fountains accompanied by musical compositions by Lully, Desmarets, Gluck and Rameau.
At the end of the tour, you will be picked up by the minivan and taken to Paris where you may either head to your hotel or continue to the Louvre Museum. If you don’t wish to use your Louvre Museum ticket on the same day, you may visit the museum another day that is more convenient.
Your skip-the-line Louvre ticket will give you direct access to the museum. Spend as much time as you wish browsing over 35,000 pieces of artwork spanning over 60,000 square metres of exhibition space. With the help of a map that you will receive at the time of entry, you may walk straight to the major artworks such as the Venus de Milo, the Coronation of Napoleon I and Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
Immediately on booking you will be emailed a booking confirmation of your purchase. If the booking is within 2 months, we will follow this up with your ticket/voucher within 72 hours of your booking. If your booking is more than 2 months away, you will be sent the ticket/voucher 30 days before your travel date.
The starting time of the tour is approximate. You will informed of exact pick-up time via email a day before the travel date by our local partner.
Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour to confirm all departure details.
Your driver will pick you up from Versailles Palace for your return transfer either at 2:30pm or 6pm depending on your choice.
Voucher information: You must print and surrender a paper version of your booking voucher for this activity (showing your voucher on a smartphone is not accepted). No refund can be given for customers without a printed copy of their voucher.
