About your guide
For Meeting the French, touring the Eiffel tower is 'old school'. They don't herd you onto a bus and have you driven to the famous sights. Oh no, they focus on intimate and original experiences which celebrate the French lifestyle and culture, helping you to see the real Paris. The city they call home.
Here’s the plan…
Enter the friendly environment of Chef Dominique’s kitchen, where for the next three hours he will guide you through preparing a stunning three-course menu of the most exceptional French cooking.
All ingredients and utensils will be provided as Dominique gives you tips and techniques so that you’ll be able to re-create the menu when you get home. Examples of the food you’ll make could include the famous Roquefort salad with pears and spices or duck with prunes and wine sauce. Which just happened to be one of Louis XIV favourite recipes. You might even make a French version of a trifle? Whichever menu, you can guarantee it’ll be delicious, with traditional and creative touches.
After preparing the three courses, you have to try it right!? So with the cooking complete, you get to taste the food. And as you say your goodbyes you can tuck the recipes in your bag, so you’ll be able to recreate them at home. It's the perfect memento for a special day.
