Visit Versailles in luxury on this private tour. A tour of Versailles brings alive the history of not only France, but also of the rest of the Europe, for it was here that the famous treaty of Versailles, which ended World War I, was signed.
Your private guide will escort you through the Palace of Versailles and show you the Royal Apartments, the Chapel, the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Apartments.
You will also see the Petit Trianon and the hamlet of the Queen Marie-Antoinette. Built by Richard Mique in 1783, this amusement village is where the queen played at being a shepherdess.
Your private vehicle and a driver/ guide will collect you from your hotel at 9:00am. On the way to Versailles, your guide will give you an introduction to the history and architecture of the palace.
Enjoy a guided visit of the château and see the Grand Apartments, King’s Apartments, Queen’s Apartments, Hall of Mirrors, Hall of the Battles. In the summer on Tuesdays, Saturdays or Sundays, you can request to the see the magical fountain show in the garden (entry cost not included).
Next, visit the gardens and the groves and see the ball room, Colonnade, Encelade, Bath of Apollo, Arc de Triomphe and Neptune.
Visit the Park, Grand Canal, Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon and Hamlet of the Queen Marie-Antoinette.
At the end of the tour, you will be returned to Paris around 5:00pm.
