As you walk the narrow streets, you can admire the architecture of the Cathedral which stands out from the rest as one of the city’s most beautiful religious structures. You will be picked up in an air-conditioned coach from your hotel in Mexico City. Accompanied by a bilingual guide speaking English and Spanish, you will be taken to the colonial city of Cuernavaca. It is also known as ‘the city of eternal springs’ owing to its year round warm climate. Visit one of the oldest cathedrals in the American continent before continuing on.
Further on, proceed to the beautiful town of Taxco and head to the famous parish church of Santa Prisca. The quaint silver-mining town of Taxco is nestled on a steep hillside and has narrow cobblestone streets lined with well preserved colonial buildings. Enjoy a walk on its cobbled streets and soak up the old-world aura of the town. Along the way, stop for a delicious lunch (international buffet lunch) at a local restaurant.
You can visit the various stores and markets where precious silver products are sold at reasonable prices. To thoroughly enjoy the place, you could watch one of the frequent cultural events held in the squares and theatres.
