Overview

Embark on a 4-hour educational guided tour of the Amazon Forest and learn all about the indigenous wildlife and the diverse flora of the region. You will be picked up from your hotel in Manaus in the morning and then you’ll be traveling into the jungle for a few kilometers in a motorized canoe. Your experienced bilingual guide will take you on a thrilling trek through the forest and teach you about medicinal plants and the Amazonian Forest trees. The high altitude of the area means you will see unique plant life, dense vegetation, and huge trees. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife as well, such as scorpions, spiders, snakes and more.

Discover the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the biggest and largest fresh water archipelago in the world, located on the Rio Negro, 70 kilo meters upstream from Manaus where the Rio Solimoes & Rio Negro meet. Depending on the season, lunch will be prepared in the jungle during trekking, on the beach, or the floating house in case it rains. Savor local food  like fish “Peacock Bass or Tambaqui” with our famous manioc and rice.

Return to Manaus at 4:30pm.
