Overview

Brace yourself for a 2-day Amazon adventure, sat sail on the Rio Negro, go fishing for piranhas, spot indigenous wildlife, travel by a motorized canoe, enjoy educational jungle walks and swim in the tea-colored waters of the Rio Negro.

Hotel pick up, accommodation and 3 meals per day included in the package.

Itinerary

Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning. Sail across the Rio Negro by speedboat as you travel from Manaus to the village of Cacau Pirera, followed by a drive to the village of Paricatuba. From this village you will travel by motorized canoe to the Lodge (located approx. 85 km from Manaus).

After lunch, enjoy a canoe trip through the small creeks and go fishing for piranhas. After sunset, enjoy an expedition where you will get to spot wildlife like alligators which remain hidden during daytime.

Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a 2.5-hour jungle walk where your guide will teach you about medicinal plants and the flora of the Amazon rainforest. The high altitude means different plant life, larger trees, and dense vegetation. After lunch, enjoy swimming in the Rio Negro. Travel back to Manaus where you will arrive in the evening.
