    This enchanting day tour takes you to Portugal’s “Dream Coast”, a feast for the eyes with its lush greenery, white beaches and azure seas.

    After crossing Ponte Vasco da Gama, stop at Palmela Castle. See the Moorish castle by the river and the famous wildlife reserve. 

    Continue your journey through breath-taking scenery to Arrábida National Park, where you’ll see plant species found nowhere else in the world. 

    In the afternoon proceed to taste two wines and tour a wine cellar. Your magical day ends with a visit to Cristo Rei shrine.

    To begin your delightful Arrábida, Sesimbra & Wine Tasting Day Tour from Lisbon tour, you will be met by your guide in Restauradores Square.

    Traveling in a comfortable minivan you will cross the Ponte Vasco da Gama, one of the Europe’s longest bridges (approximately 10.5 miles). The first stop is Setúbal, one of Portugal’s oldest cities. You will stop at Palmela Castle for a magnificent photo opportunity. You will head towards a beautiful wine farm for some tastings.

    More glorious scenery awaits at Arrábida National Park. Aside from breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, what makes Serra de Arrábida truly special is its vegetation. Many plant species that grow here can no longer be found in any other part of the world.

    Enjoy a delicious lunch of fresh fish (payable direct) at the picturesque village of Sesimbra and relax on the beach. After lunch, its time for wine tasting and a guided tour to the Casa Museu Jose Maria Da Fonseca where you’ll taste two wines while enjoying a guided tour of an old wine cellar with a long history.

    Your next discovery is the Cristo Rei Sanctuary. Inaugurated in 1959, it is similar to the Cristo Rei in Corcovado, Brazil, although smaller in size. From here you have great views over Lisbon.

    The tour ends at Restauradores Square and you will need to make your own arrangements for getting back to your accommodation.
