Overview

Experience Borneo’s traditional way of living at Mari Mari Cultural Village. Step inside the village and you will be transported back to prehistoric times as you get a sneak-peek into the traditional way of life of five ethnic tribes found in the Borneo region.

Interact with the tribal folks dressed in their traditional costume and learn how they hunt, cook and make fire. Your guide will be a descendant of one of the tribes and will share their history and the spiritual beliefs of his ancestors. You will also get the chance to participate in some of the traditional activities like making of blowpipe, starting fire using a bamboo tree, tattoo making, bamboo cooking, rice wine making, Montoku (distilled rice wine) processing and making ropes out of tree barks.

You can choose between a lunch and tea option for those hunger pangs during your visit to the cultural village.
