This is the only zoo in Europe which remains open until midnight in summers and only the second in the world after the Singapore zoo. Take a stroll in its tropical forest and you could come across Sumatran tigers, Malayan Tapir and pigmy hippos among others. The park also has a play area covering more than 500 square metres, next to one of the restaurant areas. The children’s park is a great chance for the kids to lose themselves in a labyrinth, dive into a ball pool, have a go on the swings or explore the Robinson Crusoe tree huts. You can also see lemurs at the Lemur Island. The park has a variety of species such as Nile crocodiles, masked lapwing, rhinoceros hornbill, Tanimbar cockatoo, wild buffaloes and Indian python among others.
