The untamed beauty of Scottish Highlands are waiting with stretched arms. Come and set off on a picturesque journey covering lochs, mountains, ridges, castles and bridges. This 3-day trip from Edinburgh opens up the door to the must-see highlights of Scotland – Isle of Skye, Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, Cairngorm and Loch Lomond, and the Trossachs National Park, plus a Whisky Distillery. A guide will accompany you at all times, narrating stories from Scotland’s past and share legends and folk tales.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - Edinburgh to Inverness

After you depart from Scotland’s capital, you will drive through the Western Highlands offering some of the finest scenery in Europe. Listen to your guide as he narrates tales of bloody battles, massacres and heroes like William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and ‘Young Pretender’. You will also visit the filming sites of Outlander, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and James Bond. And yes, keep you cameras ready as you might just bump into the infamous ‘Nessie’ monster!

The places of interest that you will visit are:

• Stirling Castle

• National Wallace Monument

• Doune Castle

• Loch Lomond

• The Glencoe Massacre Monument

• Glenfinnan Viaduct

• Fort Augustus Abbey

• Urquhart Castle

• Inverness Castle

You will spend the night at Inverness.

DAY 2: Inverness to the Isle of Skye
Beauty that is more scenic welcomes you on the second day as you explore the Isle of Skye. You will come across charming rivers, iconic rock formations, harbor towns, and hear local folklore about the island’s giants and fairies. Your day ends with a visit to the most beautiful castle in Scotland!

• Skye Bridge
• Portree Harbour
• Trotternish Ridge
• Quiraing Viewfield Road
• Eilean Donan Castle
At the end of the tour, you will head back to Inverness.

It is rare to find an ATM in the places we visit! So bring enough cash for the day for food, drinks and any optional extras you might want to participate in (£30 per day per person is recommended).
