Itinerary

Meet your tour guide at Edinburgh Bus Station, St Andrew Square at the scheduled time and board the comfortable air conditioned 16-seater Mercedes mini-coach. Begin the 4-day adventure from Edinburgh to all the way to Ben Nevis

Day 1

As the coach travels northwest from Edinburgh, you drive past Stirling Castle and Doune Castle. Indulge in your expert guide’s fun commentary and factual snippets of Scottish history along the way. You may stop for lunch in either Killin or Callander and enjoy the scenic views of sparkling rivers, lochs and lush forests.

After crossing the barren but beautifully remote Rannoch Moor, make way to the magnificent and impressive Glencoe, arguably the most famous and historic glen of Scotland. The coach drives you along the shores of Loch Linnhe before reaching your base in Fort William for the night.

Day 2

Day 2 of the tour has a lot in store as you begin the day with a breathtaking drive from Fort William and pass the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct. This viaduct was made popular in the Harry Potter films as the Hogwarts Train passes over the rail bridge of Glenfinnan. Relive this iconic moment before arriving in Mallaig, a little harbour on Scotland's west coast that is always bustling with activity. From here, you take the ferry to the spectacular Isle of Skye.

Traverse one of the world’s most stunning islands. Travel through the Sleat Peninsula which opens up into the famed waterfalls of Glenbrittle. Spend some time in this misty haven. You may also relish the unbelievable panoramas and sights of the Cuillin in Elgol, and visit the beautiful bay of Talisker.

Once you’ve absorbed the day filled with such sublime sights, head back to your overnight base in the Lochalsh and Skye area.

Day 3

Take the day to see some of the most renowned wonders of Skye, and treat your eyes to stunning views at every turn. Your expert guide will put together the best itinerary for Day 3 according to the weather and will ensure you experience those everlasting moments, capture the best photos of this unforgettable scenery and bask in the beauty of Skye and the West Highlands. You will also get a chance to discover the off beaten track should you choose to take a relaxing stroll. Keep your eyes peeled for a chance to spot whales and basking sharks. In the late afternoon, return to your overnight base.

Day 4

As you take to the road and travel south past the stellar Loch Cluaine and past Glen Shiel, over the horizon you will see a view of Britain’s highest mountain – Ben Nevis. A never ending array of impressive mountains from the Monadhliath to the Central Highlands pave the way as you drive south. Take a rest stop in the historic village of Dunkeld and admire the architectural marvel that is embedded in ruins of this old Scottish cathedral.

Keeping south, you reach the lowlands and into Edinburgh where the trip comes to a close at the starting point.
