Overview

There’s no other landscape quite like it on the shores of the UK. The Scottish landscape is a stunning mix of mountains and lochs, begging to be explored. On this tour, you’ll get to explore the landscape, uncover the rich history and visit key castles, villages and towns that have helped to shape this region.

As you explore, with your expert guide on hand to fill in the details with stories of old, you are visiting places that have left their mark on Scottish history and the entertainment scene. Head for Doune, a well-preserved 14th-century castle once used as a location for Game of Thrones. You’ll journey north passing lochs and mountains, with another stop at Kilchurn Castle, a castle that begs you to photograph it! 

Then it’s onto Inverary, a picture-perfect town you’ll want to explore. Enjoy more scenic views as you head out and cross the top of Rest & Be Thankful Pass. It’s then into Luss on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond before heading back to your Edinburgh base.
