Get ready as you head south towards the border, so don’t let the rolling hills and dramatic coastline fool you. You’re heading back in time to when bloody battles raged. First, however, it’s time to take in the delights of the sleepy fishing village of Bamburgh. A place itself that has seen many a battle. Your expert guide there to fill in all the details.

Feeling refreshed it’s time to head for school! Yep, Hogwarts is waiting. Alnwick Castle is the destination, a place with a long and rich history. Admire the architecture, and you’ll soon see why this place is used by the film industry. From Harry Potter to Downtown Abbey, there’s no mistaking the magic that takes place here.

Then it’s time to head back home, across the border once more, you’ll learn of the turbulent past as you make your way back to Edinburgh.

This tour showcases the best of the borders, the rich architecture, and the long history of the region. A tour of castles and broomsticks.
