This traditional Irish pub crawl, led by professional musicians, is sure to set your heart singing and your feet tapping. The rollicking Dublin Musical Pub Crawl gets underway at 7:30pm and in 2.5 hours, you’ll discover Dublin’s traditional pubs and wonderful Irish music.
The Dublin Pub Crawl takes you through Temple Bar, famous for its lively nightlife. Here you’ll get your first taste of the importance of music in Irish culture. The Crawl is best described as a moving concert (not a noisy pub crawl) and everyone is guaranteed a seat in the privately booked pubs. The tour is led by two talented professional musicians, who will happily explain Irish music and its influences on contemporary world music. Through their entertaining and expert commentary, you’ll learn the origin and importance of songs in traditional Irish culture.
During the evening, you’ll meander down Dublin’s narrow, cobbled streets, marvelling at the medieval street pattern. As you go from pub to pub, you’re sure to find yourself tapping your feet, clapping and singing along!
