Overview

This one-day tour transports you to the wild, west side of Ireland and shows you the most breathtaking sights and scenery Connemara has to offer. With the foaming Atlantic on one side and endless mountains on the other, you will feel totally inspired and elated driving through this awesome place.

Leaving Dublin, drive past many quaint towns and experience its lakes, mountains and bogs where the traditions of yesteryear are still very much a part of daily life. In summers (April - October), the tour includes a boat cruise around Killary harbour. In the winter season (November - March), you'll visit the Killary Sheep Farm, where you'll see a skilled sheepdog demonstration and learn how the people and livestock cope with the barren land and the harsh weather.

This scenic country tour includes a photo stop at the romantic Kylemore Abbey, once a prestigious girls' boarding school, it now homes nuns on retreat and welcomes tourists from around the world. Enjoy the views, history and the pure beauty of this place. Your final stop will be to one of the most energetic cities in the world - Galway, where the streets are flooded with musicians and performing artists.
