The world-famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves are one of New Zealand's most celebrated tourist attractions. As part of your stop you will take a fascinating cruise through the cave where thousands of tiny creatures radiate a unique luminescent light.
You will also stop at Lake Karapiro before arriving in Rotorua
The coach will travel south from Auckland through the rich farmland of Waikato on to Waitomo where you will arrive at the world-famous Glowworm Caves.
Set out on a a guided tour through the long galleries and lofty chambers of the Glowworm Caves. Your guided tour will take you through over 250 metres of stunning underground scenery commencing with the impressive Cathedral. The acoustics in this particular cavern are world-renowned.
The highlight of your tour is an unrivalled boat trip through the spectacular Glowworm Grotto, illuminated by thousands of tiny lights from the glowworms suspended from the cave ceiling. Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you glide silently through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto
Following your boat tour, there is time for lunch (if option selected).
In the afternoon, there will be a stop at Lake Karapiro before arriving in Rotorua.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped at your hotel in Rotorua.
