Headlining the Rijksmuseum are Rembrandt’s Night Watch and Vermeer’s The Milkmaid. But, this is the Netherlands’ largest museum and houses over 2,000 paintings from the Dutch Golden Age alone. So, there is plenty more for you to enjoy. Sculptures, photography, furniture, and other works of fine art await art experts and amateurs alike.
The Van Gogh Museum is, without question, one of the most popular museums in Amsterdam. But, it isn’t the only museum in town to display works by the Dutch impressionist.
