Activity Overview

Petra city is the most famous destination to visit In Jordan and is hailed as one of the new world seven wonders in 2007! Visit this UNESCO heritage site listed since 1985 and find out how Petra was found to be a capital city of the Nabti state from your knowledgeable guide.

Begin with a drive towards the unique city in a 2.5 hours’ drive until arrival to city. From there you will take your horse to from the visitors’ center to ride crossing the canyons or “Siq” to reach firstly the treasury which is a magnificent breath-taking stone sculpted façade.

Then you will proceed to the monastery which gained religious importance and also take this opportunity to see the circle-half shaped roman amphitheater which was used for gatherings and shows within old times. Thereafter, continue to the court and admire a great temple in the area. The last leg of the tour lets you discover the altar which dated back to the Nabti times.
