Overview

As one of the biggest aquarium complexes of the world, Antalya Aquarium offers inspiration, entertainment and education all at once. It is a great place to spend good time with family. Aquarium offers several thematic sections to make your journey more exciting and memorable. The Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean welcome you at the very beginning in 4 thematic aquariums. You can see the examples of underwater life in and around Antalya province in the big cylindrical aquarium to the left and the small ones surrounding it. After you can see amazing creatures that inhabit rivers of the world (Asian rivers, the Nile and Amazon rivers). Going further, you will face the Tropical Reef section. You can take a closer look at the living corals, clown fishes, seahorses, lionfishes, octopuses and giant morays here. The last stop of the thematic section is the tank of Sharks. You can even catch the shark feeding times that are regularly held every day. You will definitely admire the amazing decoration of the tanks in these thematical sections. Decorative automobiles, ships and statues as well as a replica of an Italian warplane that crashed in the Mediterranean during World War II, are home to fish species.

After exploring the 40 thematic aquariums, you will come across the biggest tunnel aquarium in the world with a length of 131 meters and a width of 3 meters inside the main tank with a capacity of more than 5 million litres. The first section of the tunnel presents one of the largest tropical reef decorations of the world. The second part of the tunnel describes the Sunken City Atlantis and Mediterranean themes and then leads up to the pirate wreck observation point. You can rest by sitting in amphitheatre order here and watch the sharks that wander around the treasures. When you enter the third and the longest part of the tunnel, you will see that the submarine here hosts many interesting underwater creatures. You will see numerous sharks and rays passing over you.

You can transform your Aquarium visit with unforgettable memories such as souvenir photos using Hollywood green screen backgrounds and with a visit to the specialized gift shop (own expense). You can also get an unforgettable experience by making snowballs from real snow in Snow World, or you can step into a journey among the most poisonous, colourful and interesting species of the world in tropical reptile house in Wild Park. You can even sail the world seas with multi-dimensional movie technology in Oceanride XD Cinema.
