The tour starts from Victoria Coach Station (Gate no 1-5) at 0845h (08:45am). You will travel by coach accompanied by an English speaking guide.
Your first stop of the day is Salisbury, where you will take a guided tour of Salisbury Cathedral. The spire of Salisbury Cathedral is the tallest in England and is the Cathedral is renowned for the grandeur of its luminous stone and its beautiful scenic setting. As part of your visit to the Cathedral you will visit the Chapter House which contains one of only 4 remains of the Magna Carta – the document which provided the framework for the English legal system, you will also see the oldest working clock in Europe which dates back to 1386.
Continue to Stonehenge, a mystifying collection of huge stones near Salisbury. Set in a landscape dotted with prehistoric mounds and carvings, Stonehenge continues to enthrall the imagination and captivate the heart of every visitor. Entrance fees and a Stonehenge tour are included in the tour price.
Your last stop of the day is Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture and greenery. Start your time in Bath with an orientation tour on which you will see Bath Abbey, the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge (modeled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence), and the marvelously symmetrical and perfectly proportioned Georgian Crescents that helped make Bath so famous. The highlight of your time in Bath is a guided tour of one of the city’s best preserved Roman Baths on which the city built its reputation.
After your visit to Bath you will return to London, you will arrive at the Victoria Train Station at around 1900h (7:00pm).
