Housed in the vaults of the world's most famous bridge, The London Bridge Experience is the capital's most entertaining, educational and adrenalin-pumping attraction.
The London Bridge Experience is a stunning combination of special effects, real characters and animation which will take you from the bridge's creation in Roman times, right through to the opening of the modern day bridge. There will be some unexpected shocks, thrills and drama along the way.
Braver visitors can then go deeper into the bowels of the London Bridge Experience and test their nerve in the London Tombs, where human remains and historic artefacts have been discovered. This grisly tour offers Hollywood-style special effects and a huge scare factor in an authentic - and extremely spooky - setting.
Introducing a newly refurbished set design and the latest in digital animatronics, The London Bridge Experience is getting bigger and better, and promises visitors with an exciting journey through time as you discover the history behind London's most famous bridge.
This is a ticket to The London Bridge Experience. The experience begins from the minute you arrive – at the entrance in Tooley Street, right under London Bridge itself, and there's a good chance some of the characters from the London Bridge Experience will be out and about to greet you.
As you come inside you will enter a medieval world of knights and chivalry, reflecting a famous joust on the bridge in 1390, and then it's through to the action with your very own Victorian tour guide.
As you work your way around the London Bridge Experience you will see series of stunning displays, you'll be entertained and amazed by computer generated images of famous figures such as Sir John Rennie, Charles Dickens and Braveheart himself; William Wallace. As if real, they will tell you wonderful stories of their association with the bridge.
The London Bridge Experience is about education too. A display dedicated to the memory of a great historian, Peter Jackson including his wonderful illustrations of the bridge throughout history, and a brilliant collection of historical artefacts. There are recreations of the wooden, stone and medieval bridges, all of which include live characters in full regalia of the time. And you will experience first hand the fires that destroyed the bridge and find out exactly how the famous 'London Bridge is Falling Down' song came about.
A truly interactive experience, the London Bridge Experience seeks to educate, to excite and to leave lasting memories of the world's most famous bridge, and it's fascinating 2000 year history.
