Take a sideways look at London on the Insider London Walking Tours: Quirky London. Please meet the guide outside the Marks & Spencer store across from Covent Garden tube station. He or she will be holding an ‘Insider London’ sign.

London often defies logic in the most surprising way. This 1 ½ hour tour is full of weird anecdotes and fun facts. It takes you from the popular shopping spot of Covent Garden to the Southbank and the Strand and finally to Trafalgar Square.

Along the way, you will learn about bizarre aspects of London that just might leave you scratching your head. Your guide will tell you curious tales about Covent Garden and the story of the misguided Lions of Trafalgar Square.

You will also see Britain's smallest police station, hear tales of corpses at left luggage, and visit the only street in Britain where cars drive on the right. You will also discover the twistiest bridge in London and the London ballroom turned into a Venetian Canal.

Your guide will tell you all sorts of things, though they may not always be able to tell you why!

The tour ends at Trafalgar Square London WC2N 5DN, or at Charing Cross Tube Station, Trafalgar Square, London, WC2N 5DN.
