Overview

Have you or your children always dreamed of seeing dolphins? This is your day. Start your morning at Kizimkazi, the former capital of Zanzibar and home to the oldest mosque in East Africa still stands. This unique house of worship bears testimony to the early arrival of the Persians in Zanzibar’s South, built around the 12th century.

After a quick look at the mosque get ready for an adventure as you board a motorized boat and set sail for a thrilling dolphin search. Should luck is on our side, you will even have the chance to swim with these beautiful mammals. After the boat trip, enjoy some free time to dive into the crystal waters with a snorkle and marvel the underwater world teaming with an abundance of marine life and colourful coral.

Once back ashore, savour traditional Swahili snacks, before heading to Jozani National Park, one of the remaining rain forests of East Africa. Take a walk through the luxurious green swamp forest, on the specially designed boardwalk into the mangroves where you will come face-to-face with curious, adorable and photogenic little Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys!
