Korean Folk Village 

Enjoy a perfect introduction to Korean traditional culture at South Korea’s premier folk village. Admire the natural setting of this carefully preserved village that has over 260 replicas of houses including household goods from the Joseon Dynasty, relocated and reconstructed from different parts of the country. Get to know about Korean food, clothing, and housing style of the past and witness the making of authentic handicrafts like pottery, baskets, winnows, bamboo wares, wooden wares, paper, brass wares, knots, fans, musical instruments, iron wares and embroidery. Explore unique areas of the village and witness the daily live music and dance performances.

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress 

Built during the late 18th century, Suwon Hwaseong is the official fortress of Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the legend of King Jeongjo who built this grand fortress for defense purposes, to form a new politically and economically powerful city and to house the remains of his father. Walk around the fortress wall that stretches for a total of 5.52km and has an astonishing variety of military facilities.
