Your expert guide will give you insight into the legendary story of Prophet Job and his devoutness on a visit to the reputed final resting place of the Islamic prophet. Then it’s time to continue towards Mughsayl where the white sand touches the deep blue of the ocean. Before you get there, pass by Frankincense trees, growing in their natural habitat, deep down in the valleys, dotting the dry & craggy countryside.

Heading eastward you get to discover the wonderful Taqa village and pass by the Royal Farm and Marmura House. Taqa village is known for dried sardines, traditional & old Dhofari Houses. Obtain a glimpse into the rich history of this area and spot a very interesting castle and the former official residence of the Governor of Taqa village. Continue onward to see the ruins of Sumhurum (Khor Rori) which was once the outpost for an ancient incense route between the Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf and India. Khor Rori was an important port on the coast of Dhofar, and one of the major trading cities with frankincense and also believed to be the palace of the famous Queen sheba.
