In Patagonia, you can experience four seasons in one day, so we recommend you dress keeping this in mind. Please don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and sun hat.

Local tip: If it is raining, don't bother to bring an umbrella, as the wind usually breaks them. We recommend a waterproof jacket with hood instead.

In Chile, we have a National Emergency Office (ONEMI). In the unlikely event of an emergency or natural disaster, they can close down parks, roads and maritime crossing. The region of Magellan and the Chilean Antarctic are governed by what ONEMI says. In case of such an event, we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible.

The Maggiorino Burgatello Museum is closed on Mondays. So if you book a Monday tour, we’ll visit the Regional Museum of Magallanes, instead.
