Spend the morning diving on a coral reef and the afternoon spotting the Big Five in a private game reserve. Hop on a boat and head off to see colonies of seals, penguins and dolphins. Port Elizabeth is blessed with safe, warm seas, long sandy beaches and lots of sunshine perfect for swimming, surfing and sailing. The fifth-largest city in South Africa, Port Elizabeth also offers plenty of scope for landlubbers, including a couple of great museums, fun restaurants and bars and a vibrant township scene.
