We will drop you back at your hotel in Siem Reap.
Everyone at some point in their life have wanted to try their hands at pottery and we bet you would love it too! An activity that sparks both creative exuberance and an intriguing sense of transcendence as you connect with the barest form of Mother Earth - clay, this Ceramic Pottery class will also give you a taste of local Cambodian culture. Take your shot at making traditional Angkorian bowls from scratch and revel in your artistic streak.
The class will be an enthralling session of exploring your ingenious side as you learn how to correctly spin the pottery wheel, the array of tools from banding wheels to underglaze brushes, build native Cambodian crockery and engrave indigenous patterns on them. The exciting part? Keeping your hands steady and getting the right shape as well as consistency. From watching the instructor churn out stunning bowls to making your very own - it’s an unforgettable experience!
You will get your shot at spinning out two bowls and learning how to carve out intricate Khmer designs on them, too. Not only that, you can also choose one of the bowls you have built and get it delivered as a lovely self-made souvenir, complete with the final glazing, right to your hotel. All you have to do is plan in advance and ensure that you will be present in Siem Reap the next day.
Voucher information: No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other device.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 48 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.
Please be ready at least 5 minutes prior to scheduled pickup time at the hotel lobby so that we do not get late on the way.
