Overview

Enjoy this guided excursion to Nakhl and Rustaq tour which offers views of Forts and visits to hot springs! Focus on the architecture and scenery, with a driver-guide to handle the driving.

Nakhl lies at the foothills of the mountains near an abundant source of water, which irrigates extensive date palm plantations. Drive along the magnificent Batinah coastline to Barka then heading south to the Oasis of Nakhl. Visit the famous Fort in the area which dates back to the 17th Century and also stop by the Al Thowarah Hot Springs!

After a busy day, take a little break to enjoy a picnic lunch in one of the many shades before continuing to Rusatq to visit another pre-Islamic fort. Learn about this major trading center of Oman on the last leg of the tour before being driven back to Muscat.
