Marrakech is known for its incredible gardens which provide an oasis of peace away from the bustle of the Souks.

This tour will take you to visit Menara Gardens and Majorelle Gardens in a horse-drawn carriage.

Lying in the shadow of the Atlas Mountains the tranquil Menara Gardens are one of the most famous images of Marrakech. The Majorelle Gardens were designed by painter and botanist, Jacques Majorelle. These private gardens are owned by the French fashion house Yves St. Laurent. The garden has a huge variety of cacti and other flora.

A horse and carriage provides the perfect way to explore these peaceful gardens.

    • Seems like "fair" or "satisfactory" should be listed as options, rather than having to choose between "good" or "poor" -- there is a big gap between those two, and neither are a good description in this case. The tour was a good concept and well done; driver and guide were helpful and professional. But two serious criticisms -- our tour was a bit less than three hours (rather than four hours as advertised), and we didn't appreciate a half hour of that time being used to take us directly to two specific merchants and be set up to make purchases. There are hundreds of merchants in the area and no "shopping" was included in your description of the tour. Had there been, we probably would not have taken the tour.
