Our tips for Kefalonia

The only national park on a Greek island is situated on Kefalonia Island. Enjoy a hike up the mountain. The highest point of the mountain reaches 1,628 meters! On clear days, enjoy panoramic views of the Peloponnese, Ithaca and Zakynthos. The hike up is worth it for the incredible views.

June to August are the best months to visit the island. July is the hottest month, so if you prefer cooler temperatures, this is not the time for a visit. Kefalonia has mild winters which make it a suitable time for travel.
