You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul in the morning and accompanied by an English-speaking guide will visit:
• St. Sophia Church: Once a church, then a mosque and now a museum, it is one of the major attractions of Istanbul. The interior is decorated with awe-inspiring Byzantine mosaics.
• The Blue Mosque: It was built by the Ottoman architect, Sedefkâr Mehmet Aga. With its six minarets and many domes, the mosque is worth a visit.
• The Byzantine Hippodrome: It was the heart of Constantinople's political and sporting life and the scene of games and riots through 500 years of Ottoman history.
• The Grand Bazaar: This is where you can pick-up beautiful Turkish carpets, glazed tiles, pottery, leather apparel, alabaster bookends and all sorts of interesting knickknacks.
The tour finish at Grand Bzaar.
