Overview
With an almost cinematic history to boast of, the Cu Chi Tunnels are no strangers to visitors thanks to the heroes who fought for almost 30 years to bring about Vietnam’s independence. This guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels will takes you back to the pages of history books and sink into the glorious tale of this man-made wonder.
Our journey begins with a convenient hotel transfer to Tan Cang pier from where we will board our luxury speedboat to the mangrove forest. Dig into a light yet delectable breakfast of cakes from Pat' a Chou along with LaVie water and seasonal fruits, all while savoring a slice of local life as you watch people go about their lives. On arriving at the tunnels, we will sit down for a marvelous documentary introducing us to this engineering feat as well as its wartime legends. Covering over 250 km, these tunnels criss-cross in-numerous times to create a strategic, web-like network. The completed tunnels almost reflected an underground civilization with the area built into trenches, docks, fighting places, tunnels for eating, sleeping, meetings, activities, military, food storage, water wells, Hoang Cam stoves, and more.
Once we are inside, there’s a host of experiences waiting for you - walking through the jungle visiting traps, secret entrances, bunkers, underground hideouts and many more exciting places, witnessing the rice-paper (spring roll skin) and rice-wine production line, taking a shot at shooting real guns from the rifle range of Cu Chi, understanding what it feels like to be a soldier at war while crawling through the tunnels, enjoying green tea and tapioca like the soldiers did, and so much more. Having savored this unforgettable journey, we will head to Tang Can restaurant where we will relish a delectable traditional meal of 7 delicious courses (this will take place at the beginning of the tour if you choose the afternoon slot).

Rains are not uncommon in Ho Chi Minh City. But no worries as we have got you covered with our pre-arranged raincoats.
Please remember to wear either sandals, hiking boot, high- tops, trainers or sneakers only on this tour for your comfort and safety.
Don’t forget that insect repellant sprays will be needed before we head inside.
Do remember that lunch will be served before we head into the tunnel (for afternoon travellers).
